Alongside the entry requirements for each course, you will also need to achieve the minimum Sixth Form entry requirements.

The World of Travel & Tourism

The travel and tourism industry in the UK is growing and is of major importance to the economy. You will develop the skills needed to examine, interpret and analyse a variety of statistics that measure the importance of tourism to the UK. Knowledge of how organisations react to changes and trends in peoples travel choices.

Global Destinations

You will investigate the features and appeal of global destinations. Global transport has never been easier to access we look at the advantages and disadvantages of a range of routes and modes of transport. Some people will be travelling on a strict budget whereas others are looking for indulging themselves in luxury.

Principles of Marketing in Travel & Tourism

Marketing is important for any organisation where customer needs and expectations are constantly changing We will explore how to develop a successful marketing plan for use by travel and tourism organisations to attract and engage with customers using research data.

Visitor Attractions

Visitor attractions can draw people from a local region or on an international scale. They can vary from being natural areas of outstanding beauty, attractions or major events that appeal to different groups of people. Why are some free to enter whilst for others the cost can be prohibitive.  There is plenty of choice when deciding where to visit, how do organisations react to competition and keep at the forefront of the industry?
