Admissions

There are 2 types of School Admission:

• Normal School Admissions
• In-year Applications (also known as Non-Standard Entries)

Both types of admission must go through the East

The closing date for secondary applications is 31 October 2025. Once this date has passed, please contact the School Admissions team.

Normal School Admissions

If you are the parent/carer of a Year 6 child and would like information regarding their transition from primary to secondary school, you can find more information here.

The link to make applications for a prospective Year 7 child before 31 st October is
through the School Admissions Citizen Portal.

In-year Applications (Non-Standard Entries)

If you are the parent/carer of a Year 7 or above child and would like information regarding their transfer from an existing school to HSLC please find it here.

If you wish to enquire whether there is a place in a specific year group for your child, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Once School Admissions has processed the application, HSLC will be informed of the intention to allocate the place.

Once the school place has been allocated, you will be informed by the LA. Please then make contact with the Exams and Admissions Officer, who will be able to book an appointment for the school tour and admissions paperwork to be filled out. A start date will be then be confirmed.
