Grade 6 in Theory Component of GCSE PE

If GCSE PE has not been studied, you will need to achieve Grade 6-6 in GCSE Science

Alongside the entry requirements for each course, you will also need to achieve the minimum Sixth Form entry requirements.

Assessment

External Examinations: 70% of A-Level

1 x Performance Component: 30% of A-Level

The A-Level in Physical Education opens up a range of possibilities for further study and careers associated with the subject.

It is an excellent base for a university degree in sports science, sports  management, healthcare and it can also complement further study in biology, human biology, physics, psychology, nutrition and sociology.
